RECEIVING DIVINE ELEVATION BY A VOW.

 It's the Blessed Sunday that the Lord has blessed us with therefore let us rejoice and be glad in it.

I welcome you to our Sunday Sermon.

Our Sermon is Divine Elevation by a Vow

Shall we pray together before we begin our message.

Our Dear Heavenly Father  we humbly continue abiding in Your Presence and Grace with our open hearts and spirit therefore Lord Grant us the perfect understanding of Your Word in the Mighty Name of the Lord Jesus Christ who came by water and Blood we have prayed.

 Let every saint Say a louder Hallelujah and Amen.

Judges 11:29-40

 Jephthah’s Vow and Victory

Then the Spirit of the Lord came upon Jephthah, and he passed through Gilead and Manasseh, and passed through Mizpah of Gilead; and from Mizpah of Gilead he advanced toward the people of Ammon. And Jephthah made a vow to the Lord, and said, “If You will indeed deliver the people of Ammon into my hands, then it will be that whatever comes out of the doors of my house to meet me, when I return in peace from the people of Ammon, shall surely be the Lord’s, and I will offer it up as a burnt offering.” So Jephthah advanced toward the people of Ammon to fight against them, and the Lord delivered them into his hands. And he defeated them from Aroer as far as Minnith—twenty cities—and to Abel Keramim, with a very great slaughter. Thus the people of Ammon were subdued before the children of Israel.

 Jephthah’s Daughter

 When Jephthah came to his house at Mizpah, there was his daughter, coming out to meet him with timbrels and dancing; and she was his only child. Besides her he had neither son nor daughter. And it came to pass, when he saw her, that he tore his clothes, and said, “Alas, my daughter! You have brought me very low! You are among those who trouble me! For I have given my word to the Lord, and I cannot go back on it.” So she said to him, “My father, if you have given your word to the Lord, do to me according to what has gone out of your mouth, because the Lord has avenged you of your enemies, the people of Ammon.” Then she said to her father, “Let this thing be done for me: let me alone for two months, that I may go and wander on the mountains and bewail my virginity, my friends and I.” So he said, “Go.” And he sent her away for two months; and she went with her friends, and bewailed her virginity on the mountains. And it was so at the end of two months that she returned to her father, and he carried out his vow with her which he had vowed. She knew no man. And it became a custom in Israel that the daughters of Israel went four days each year to lament the daughter of Jephthah the Gileadite.

A vow is deal between a man and God.A vow is the covenant between a man and God who changes all things in the lives men .

You can miss God in fasting and prayer but you can not miss Him in a vow because He is the covenant keeping God.A vow is the deal that attracts the heart of God to the affairs of men.

Jephthah was rejected by his family members but when the Spirit of God came upon he made a vow and victory came upon his life.A true vow is made from the heart that is filled with the Spirit of God.

When the Spirit of God came upon Jephthah he made a vow and at the end of it He received Divine Elevation.He received divine elevation by means of a vow that he made unto God.If you are face serious Challenges and situations in your life you need cut a deal with God today and He will definitely grant you the results of your vow.

Jephthah made vow to the Lord so that He can defeats the amonites.The Lord granted him his request of a vow and victory came upon his life and nation.When the Lord granted him victory rather divine Elevation he needed to honor or fulfil his vow.

He told God that whatever will meet him on the way from victory he will offer it to the Lord as a burnt offering.To his shock, it was the daughter who met him first on the way from plunder.He had no choice but to honor his vow by sacrificing his daughter on the altar of God.Jephthah fulfilled his vow unto the Lord and he was a free man.He defeated his enemies through the vow that he made unto God when the Spirit came upon him. 

Failure to fulfil your vow after God has answered you or granted your request attracts powers and unknown challenges .

If you want to see yourself coming out of that situation you must make a vow as you are led by the Spirit .Vow is more than a sacrifice or seed sowing because God is the covenant keeping God.

Do you want  a wife, husband and miracle babies or promotion  speedily? 

 You need to make a a vow unto the Lord and He will grant you your request.A vow makes God to answer your speedily.What is it that is not being done in your life and you want a quick response from God?

 Just cut a deal with God of rather make a vow with God as you are being led by the HOLYSPIRIT

Let us look at another person who received divine Elevation by a vow.

1 Samuel 1:8-28

 Hannah’s Vow

Then Elkanah her husband said to her, “Hannah, why do you weep? Why do you not eat? And why is your heart grieved? Am I not better to you than ten sons?” So Hannah arose after they had finished eating and drinking in Shiloh. Now Eli the priest was sitting on the seat by the doorpost of the tabernacle of the Lord. And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed to the Lord and wept in anguish. Then she made a vow and said, “O Lord of hosts, if You will indeed look on the affliction of Your maidservant and remember me, and not forget Your maidservant, but will give Your maidservant a male child, then I will give him to the Lord all the days of his life, and no razor shall come upon his head.” And it happened, as she continued praying before the Lord, that Eli watched her mouth. Now Hannah spoke in her heart; only her lips moved, but her voice was not heard. Therefore Eli thought she was drunk. So Eli said to her, “How long will you be drunk? Put your wine away from you!” But Hannah answered and said, “No, my lord, I am a woman of sorrowful spirit. I have drunk neither wine nor intoxicating drink, but have poured out my soul before the Lord. “Do not consider your maidservant a wicked woman, for out of the abundance of my complaint and grief I have spoken until now.” Then Eli answered and said, “Go in peace, and the God of Israel grant your petition which you have asked of Him.” And she said, “Let your maidservant find favor in your sight.” So the woman went her way and ate, and her face was no longer sad. Samuel Is Born and Dedicated Then they rose early in the morning and worshiped before the Lord, and returned and came to their house at Ramah. And Elkanah knew Hannah his wife, and the Lord remembered her. So it came to pass in the process of time that Hannah conceived and bore a son, and called his name Samuel, saying, “Because I have asked for him from the Lord.” Now the man Elkanah and all his house went up to offer to the Lord the yearly sacrifice and his vow. But Hannah did not go up, for she said to her husband, “Not until the child is weaned; then I will take him, that he may appear before the Lord and remain there forever.” So Elkanah her husband said to her, “Do what seems best to you; wait until you have weaned him. Only let the Lord establish His word.” Then the woman stayed and nursed her son until she had weaned him. Now when she had weaned him, she took him up with her, with three bulls, one ephah of flour, and a skin of wine, and brought him to the house of the Lord in Shiloh. And the child was young. Then they slaughtered a bull, and brought the child to Eli. And she said, “O my lord! As your soul lives, my lord, I am the woman who stood by you here, praying to the Lord. For this child I prayed, and the Lord has granted me my petition which I asked of Him. Therefore I also have lent him to the Lord; as long as he lives he shall be lent to the Lord.” So they worshiped the Lord there.

Hannah prayed so mammy times but there was no issue.Hannah needed a child and they tried everything with her husband but no avail.So it came to pass when she made a vow everything changed accordingly.Time came when Hannah changed the way of her praying.She entered the realm of God called vows.The spirit of God came upon Hannah and she made a vow unto God and her vow was granted.She made a vow once and her results showed up speedily.She received her divine elevation by a vow.

You can joke around  with tithes and offerings or seed sowing but not with vows because  God is the Covenant keeping God.The Vow is the realm where God operates.Every vow has results that surpasses the honor that you give when your request has been granted unto you.

1 Samuel 1:26-28 

And she said, “O my lord! As your soul lives, my lord, I am the woman who stood by you here, praying to the Lord. For this child I prayed, and the Lord has granted me my petition which I asked of Him. Therefore I also have lent him to the Lord; as long as he lives he shall be lent to the Lord.” So they worshiped the Lord there.

You need to understand that Samuel was a loan to God for Hannah.Hannah returned to the church to testify but nowadays people leave the church when they are blessed or granted their requests.Hannah returned to testify and give honor to God.returned to the man of God to give honor for her vow.A vow needs people to return to the man of God and honor God for the granted vow.So Hannah returned to the man of God and left Samuel at the church as vowed unto God.When God has answered your vow make sure you do everything that proceeded from your mouth.

Let us see the benefits of the honoring the vow.

1 Samuel 2:18-21 .

But Samuel ministered before the Lord, even as a child, wearing a linen ephod. Moreover his mother used to make him a little robe, and bring it to him year by year when she came up with her husband to offer the yearly sacrifice. And Eli would bless Elkanah and his wife, and say, “The Lord give you descendants from this woman for the loan that was given to the Lord.” Then they would go to their own home. And the Lord visited Hannah, so that she conceived and bore three sons and two daughters. Meanwhile the child Samuel grew before the Lord.

Samuel ministered before the Lord in temple  as his mother vowed unto God.Samuel grew and grew in the things of God.When God's Grace is pronounced by the mother upon the unborn child the Lord is able to honor it. Mothers you can determine the destiny of your children from your wombs through vows.Hannah was granted her request of a male child from God when she made a vow because God is the covenant keeping God.Samuel was the Loan that Hannah gave unto God

Samuel was a loan and let us see the interests that proceeded from the loan.Hannah was visited by God again and she conceived  and bore three sons and two daughters beside Samuel.Samuel was a loan and the loan brought the interests of five children.Thus the benefit of the vow.Kindly make a vow and the Lord will visit you and remember you through the vow.it's indescribable feeling that you received when you have honored your vow.

 Ecclesiastes 5:1-2,4-6 

Fear God, Keep Your Vows Walk prudently when you go to the house of God; and draw near to hear rather than to give the sacrifice of fools, for they do not know that they do evil. Do not be rash with your mouth, And let not your heart utter anything hastily before God. For God is in heaven, and you on earth; Therefore let your words be few. When you make a vow to God, do not delay to pay it; For He has no pleasure in fools. Pay what you have vowed— Better not to vow than to vow and not pay. Do not let your mouth cause your flesh to sin, nor say before the messenger of God that it was an error. Why should God be angry at your excuse and destroy the work of your hands?

Pay what you have vowed unto the Lord God Almighty.Better not to vow than to vow and not pay.If you know that you a person who hates giving please never you call a man of God that you will buy him a house when the project at the NGO will go through because if you fail when the project has been granted then you will be punished or God will be angry with you .

Be very careful and have knowledge when it comes to making vows .What is our conclusion then, make a vow and pay it without delay.Vows are nice when you are a person who loves Giving back unto God.

May God bless the reading of His Word in Jesus name who came by water and Blood.

Moment of prayer 

1:Any evil vow that I might have made that is affecting my life now due be broken down by the Spirit water and Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ

2:All the vows that I made in the past that I didn't honor Oh Lord nullify the negative impact in my life and destiny by the Spirit water and Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ.

3:All the vows that I made in my former church which I did not honor responsible for the setbacks and delays in my life and career be broken now by the Spirit water and Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ.

4:All the vows which my forefathers made with Satan to cage my destiny, star ,children and businesses be broken down by the Spirit water and Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ.

5:All the vows which are hanging on my head full of negative impacts in my destiny, ministry, marriage and family by broken now the Spirit, water and Blood of the Lord Jesus .

6:All the vows which I made when I was a child which are working against me now be broken down now by the Spirit water and Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ.

7:All the vows which my forefathers from both sides vowed against my life and destiny I terminate them completely by the Spirit water and Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ.

8:All the vows of barrenness and joblessness in my bloodline I break them now by the Spirit water and Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ .

9:Give thanks to God for your freedom from all evil vows which were affecting your life in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ who came by water and Blood .
