Who is the god of this world?
In this world we are living they are alot of beliefs and such beliefs have the source(deity ).Deity is something that is being worshiped or served.
Jesus Christ is the True God whom we need to believe in Him daily through His Word which endures forever.
As long as you are not aware the one who is controlling this world you will continue going through same battle year in and year out.
The devil is the god of this world. he is the one controlling the whole world through his agents the demons.

2 Corinthians 4:3-6
But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them. For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord, and ourselves your bondservants for Jesus’ sake. For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
The True gospel of redemption of water and the Spirit is veiled to all those whose minds have been veiled by the god of this world -the devil.
The devil is the one who veiling people's minds so that they don't believe and accept the gospel of Truth. As long as your minds are veiled you can not enjoy the gospel of redemption of water and the Spirit. The devil will veil your mind in order to hinder you from meeting the Truth of redemption and Salvation.
Are you able to grasp the Truth so easily? Then your mind is not veiled by the god of this world.
In order to overcome the god of this world you need to have proper knowledge of God.
Without the indwelling of the Holy Spirit you can't discern the Truth.
The gospel of redemption of water and the Spirit has too much Light. When the gospel enter your heart ,it shines with the Greater Light of God within it.
As long as you are not readily available in obeying the truth it will be impossible for you to conquer the god of this world.

whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.
The glory of Christ Jesus shines on those who obey the Truth. All those who doesn't obey the truth are in darkness and walk in darkness daily.
All those who does the Truth and speak it are readily available in God's Presence and extraordinary blessings. These people are nolonger under the control of the god of this world. These people are more than conquerors through Him that came by water and blood and the Spirit. Jesus Christ has given such people so much power and Authority over the god of this world.
If you are free in believing the Truth then you will be able to filled with the Light of God.
1 John 5:19
[19]We know that we are children of God and that the world around us is under the control of the evil one.
This world is under the control of the devil. The devil is the god of this world. He is the one responsible for all things happening in all nations.
This world is under the control of Satan therefore you need to arise above him in order to be overcome him continually.
Jesus Christ overcome the devil by the Spirit water and blood.
Even His disciples overcame the devil by the Spirit water and blood.
So knowledge is important in order to overcome this world .Knowledge and the Truth is in the Category of weapons for mass destruction. You need knowledge and the Truth for destroying the kingdom of darkness. All those who believe in God are able to overcome the world and the devil.
You need to break out from the control of the devil therefore be in faith and conquer the world.

I will no longer talk much with you, for the ruler of this world is coming, and he has nothing in Me.
So the ruler (god) of this world has nothing to do with Jesus Christ. So even you the devil has nothing to do with you.
Arise and shine in order to overcome the god of this world.
Do not be moved by the ruler (god) of this world .Do not allow the devil to control your life,career ,destiny and finances.
The Lord God Almighty has given us enough knowledge so that we can overcome the god of this world.

We can overcome the god of this world according to the Word of God. God's Testimony is enough for us to overcome the god of this world.
Be available always to stand on the three witnesses for conquering the god of this world. The god of this world has no power over you and your family because he was defeated already by Jesus Christ baptism and blood.
